Taylor Miles-Behrens is a writer and teacher living outside Boulder, Colorado. She teaches creative writing and English composition, as well as adult education certification courses at Red Rocks Community College and Front Range Community College.
She is passionate about educational equity and furthering higher education access to marginalized communities. Through her work at Red Rocks, she has had the opportunity to teach inside correctional facilities throughout Colorado. She previously taught ESL for over a decade, working in Boston, Prague, Berlin, and Denver.
Taylor writes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, and has worked as a translator, editor, and journalist. She has an MA in North American Studies (literature and culture) from Freie University (Berlin), and an MA in creative writing from Kingston University (London) and a BA in journalism and Latin American Studies from Boston University.
Her work has been published in Vestal Review, Thimble, Roi Fainéant Press, and Fjords Review, among others.
